Violence and Rape Avoidance

Violence against women and children is endemic in South Africa. The Medical Research Council estimates that up to 3600 rapes occur daily in South Africa. Whilst everyone hopes that it will never happen to them, there is unfortunately a real chance that it will happen.

Many programs focus on helping women who have been victims of rape. Whilst these programs are critical, our view is that prevention is better than cure. Women would rather they received help so that they don’t get raped rather than receive help after the fact.

Our course is therefore, designed to teach women awareness, prevention, risk reduction, rape avoidance. It is not a Martial Arts program. The course is delivered as an interactive seminar by a woman and is designed for women from the age of 16 upwards. Whilst rapists are 100% responsible for their actions as no woman deserves to be raped. Woman can take action to minimise their chances of falling prey to rapists.

Where: the seminars are held at client’s venue be it the home, workplace or school.

Numbers: there is no minimum number of women who can be trained, there is however a fixed fee for groups below 40 persons

To book a seminar, sponsor training for class or community, make inquiries about fee structure or to obtain a course outline
